This pattern is a transcription of a piece of my great grandmother's crochet lace. The pattern is available both as written instructions and a charted diagram. It was originally made with a 1.5mm hook (I'm guessing) and is about 2 inches wide. It can be made with any yarn and appropriate hook size. Worsted weight yarn with a 6mm hook makes a good scarf about 6 inches wide.
